Ortolan luxury textiles is a lifestyle brand whose genesis traces back to the small towns, dirt roads and rolling fields of Ohio where Bethany and Jenna Mallett were raised.  As the Owner/Designer and Illustrator, respectively, they have crafted their exquisite line of luxury home textiles and accessories with not only attention to beauty and detail, but with the simplicity and elegance that sensibility afforded them.  Creating “Pure Luxury” through totally organic materials and process, they have built a brand that not only respects the earth we live in, but the environment we all share.

Bethany, who now calls New York home, draws inspiration not only from her experiences as a child, but through her extensive travels and immersion in New York’s fast paced fashion industry. By focusing on environmentally sound alternatives to modern textiles, materials and manufacturing, she created Ortolan to answer that need in luxury home and lifestyle products. Understanding that not only is there a better way, but it is our responsibility to look for and pursue that achievement is the founding ideal behind Ortolan.
